All student have Google accounts which allow students to access online resources through Clever including books through Sora. Contact your teacher through ClassDojo if you need account information. If you do not have a ClassDojo account, email your teacher, rmontoya@vusd.org or schicoine@vusd.org with your student's name(s) and account information will be emailed.

Starfall – This is a great website for learning to read. Starfall takes your kids all the way from ABC’s to Learning to Read! There are some fun games and more that surround Phonics, Sounds and putting sounds together in words! This is great for preschoolers learning to read!

ABCYa – This is another great learning site for kids. There is everything from Counting Games, to Graphing, Patterns and more. Great for learning early math skills. This is one of my Son’s Favorite Free Websites! Audible Stories - For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet. Explore.org - is the world's leading philanthropic live nature cam network and documentary film channel. Fun Brain – Reading, Math, Tic Tac Toe and more are all a part of FunBrain.com! Explore tons of new games for kids and learn as you go. They even have fun Mad Libs to help with reading! GoNoodle - engages 14 million kids every month with movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. Highlights for Kids – My kids LOVE Highlights Magazines, and the website is just as great! There are games, books, crafts and of course Hidden Pictures. Into the Book - is a reading comprehension resource for elementary students and teachers. We focus on eight research-based strategies: Using Prior Knowledge, Making Connections, Questioning, Visualizing, Inferring, Summarizing, Evaluating and Synthesizing. Just Books Read Aloud - The site is intended to be a resource for parents, teachers and children to easily and simply listen to a great collection of children's books. Khan Academy - Practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Math Learning Center- The Math Learning Center (MLC) is a nonprofit organization serving the education community. PORTS Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students - California State Parks is now broadcasting our PORTS Home Learning Programs from locations across California. Students learning from home will be able to access our precious natural resources and cultural heritage from the comfort of their own. See the calendar and register for exciting classes. PBS Kids – This is a great site for kids of all ages featuring all of your kids favorite characters from PBS! Ranger Rick - To help you stay entertained and engaged in the natural world, we are making our website free to all visitors through the end of June. Storyline Online - Reading aloud to children has been shown to improve reading, writing and communication skills, logical thinking and concentration, and general academic aptitude, as well as inspire a lifelong love of reading. Teachers use Storyline Online in their classrooms, and doctors and nurses play Storyline Online in children’s hospitals.
